Crying and Laughing.

You make me cry,
She said,
But, so do onions
And some movies.
I felt better,
And said,
You make me laugh
But so do priests
And politicians.
We never saw
Each other again.
The reasons we laugh
Are sometimes
Worse than
The reasons we cry.
